Messina Streets (Day 2 cont. )

 And the famous Caravaggio's...

Messina was a nice and vibrant city with its southern culture the food was amazing. I am looking forward to see other Sicilian cities for the flavours I had. My favourite was the cannoli I had. The people seemed relaxed which is not something I am used to as a big city person.
Also the climate was so soft that made me feel even more relaxed...
After wandering all day long through the city the museum which possesses paintings of Caravaggio was a delight to visit even though the walk from the harbour to the museum!
And before the depart I made a visit to a newer part of the town with many shops and cafes along roads and had another cannolo accompanied with a very nice macchiato... in the nice ambiance of the café we were sitting in.

Still dreaming about those cannoli...

Second Day (Sea)

After seeing the astonishing blue of the sea... I was left speechless... (instead of shades of grey I say shades of blue)

But then Etna the volcano came into view and left me breathless..

I was calm when it was time to watch southern Italy from the sea...

Fishers were our company along the way...

The Pilot comes for the manoeuvres to enter the harbour of Messina...
 Messina Harbour...

First Day (Sea)

The day began with amazing tones of Mediterranean Sea. I kept screaming with joy mentioning that blue (my favourite colour)

Nice views of south Greece kept calling for a visit as soon as possible

Piano before dinner was calming as the views were along the day...
